panic in the streets, so take to the roofs. state control has taken hold of city 17. no help arrives so it’s time to rise and prevent our genocide. so join the resistance, and fight for your existence. earth needs a leader, mankind needs a saviour. a man of science with brawn to match, a god would not be braver. a man of so few words but his actions speak the truth. it’s time to ask ourselves, what would freeman do? he’d save us from zombies, the head-crabs, the combine. the gun-ships, the striders, the hunters, the ant-lions. he’d fight with a crowbar and find a way somehow. if i was gordon freeman, i’d have given up by now. we don’t go to Ravenholm, that place is worse than hell. zombies flood the churchyard, drawn in by the bell. brother grigori has lost his mind, he plans to stay behind. to save his flock he claims, but surely he’s insane. the zombies passed, the ant-lions next, and still hes found no harm. we’re nearing nova-prospect, the soldiers raise the alarm. an army couldn’t stop him, what makes you think you can? it would take much more than that to ever stop this man.
